Carolina Insurance Group, LLC was established August 15th, 2001, to be the local source for Individual and Employee Benefits by Samuel (Sam) H. Plexico, CPA, CHFC, CLU, James (Jim) W. Polatty, Jr., Frederick (Rick) W. Polatty, and Wilson B. Springs, II.

The vision the four principals then as well as now were to create an agency to support its clients and prospective clients with value added benefits and services.

The agency has grown from offices in Conway and Myrtle Beach, S.C. to adding an office in Columbia, S.C. that W. Creighton (Creighton) Forrest leads since 2004. In 2008 Carolina Insurance Group, LLC entered into an agreement with the USI Group of Georgetown, S.C. to add a complete employee administrative outsourcing firm capable of handling everything from payroll to complete human resource solutions.

Carolina Insurance Group has continued to grow and has been recognized for production from various carriers but has never wavered from its principal of being "Your Source for Employee and Individual Benefits" locally and in South Carolina.

For the future, Carolina Insurance Group, LLC looks forward to providing innovative solutions to our business and individual clients and continuing to grow with our present and new clients. Our goal is to have our clients know they can have all of their business and individual insurance and benefits handled by Carolina Insurance Group, LLC "Your Source for Employee and Individual Benefits" locally and in South Carolina.
